How to make Tandoori Naan on Tawa in Easy Steps?
Follow the steps provided below to make Tandoori Naan on Tawa.
Step 1: The very first things we need to do is prepare the flour, let us do that by taking the flour in a bowl. Now add baking soda into it, along with the sugar, salt, curd and oil as well at the same time. Also you add one row egg by broken it. (if you like to add egg).
Step 2: Now mix up the entire ingredient nicely in the bowl, use a small amount of hot water to squeeze the bread. Make sure the little of water that you use is a bit warm, keep on pouring the warm water into the bowl until the mix gets soft.
Step 3: Slowly the flour will get softer and softer, add a little amount of oil and squeeze the flour all over again with the palm of your hand until and unless it looks quite shiny and greasy too. We have to keep on squeezing the flour for at least 6 to 8 minutes of time to make it soft.
Step 4: Finally now your soft dough is ready to make tawa naan and if you touch it is just soft enough. As the process is about to get over we need to add a little amount of water to the dough surface. Once more put a little amount of oil on the surface of the squeezed flour.
Step 5: Now we have to keep it in a warm place by covering it up for a maximum duration of 2 to 3 hours. Later when you have a look on the flour you will notice that it has reach its fluffy size which is comparatively twice the size before it is kept in the warm place.
Step 6: Open it up as now we are ready to prepare Naan with the flour. Take little bit of flour on the palm of your hand and then lightly punch the flour. Get some dry flour into your hand and start making balls of the dough flour.Powder it with the dry flour and keep the balls made of flour in a side. Keep on making small flour balls as much as you can with the amount of the flour in the bowl, you will be able to make at least 6 to 7 dough balls.
Step 7: Turn on the gas stove and heat up the tawa. At the same time roll the dough balls into a round shape or into any shape you wish to make it that including the oval shape.
Step 8: While rolling the dough balls make sure that it is not too thin. Keep it a little thick and apply little amount of water on the surface of the roll flour with the spoon. By now your tawa must be warmed up, put the rolled dough one after another into it.
Step 9: Use a little water and stick the flattened dough to the surface of the tawa. Now flip the tawa and let it keep on cooking until the brown spot appears. When 3 to 4 brown spot appears on the naan that means your tawa naan is cooked.
