INGREDIENTS REQUIRED TO MAKE MINT CHUTNEY RECIPE:
|2 medium size||pilled green chillies (hari mirch)|
|3 cloves||pilled garlic cloves (lasun)|
|1 inch||pilled ginger chopped (adrak)|
|½ teaspoon||lemon juice fresh|
|1 teaspoon||dry mango powder (amchur powder)|
|1 Pinch||of black salt or as required (kala namak)|
|1-2 tablespoon||of water|
|1 cup||plain curd beat and smooth|
|¼ teaspoon||roasted cumin powder (jeera powder)|
|½ cup||fresh and chopped coriander leaves (dhanina patta)|
|1 cup||fresh and chopped mint leaves (pudina patta)|
MINT CHUTNEY RECIPE WITH STEP BY STEP GUIDE AND PHOTOS:
First take garlic, ginger and green chilli in grinder jar and paste them.
Now add mint leaves, coriander leaves, black salt and little water in same mixer grinder jar and paste again until paste looking smooth.
Once paste looking smooth, pours it in a bowl and add beat & smooth yogurt, roasted cumin powder, dry mango powder and whisk it well.
Add lemon juice and also add some salt if required.
Now your pudiana chutney is ready for use. Keep it in freeze for best result.
TYPE OF MINT CHUTNEY:
Normally there are two types of green chutney we are using. One is with yogurt and other one is without yogurt.
Mint chutney with yogurt :
In this mint chutney recipe you have to just add cumin powder and yogurt.
With yogurt mint chutney we use specially for kababs. Also we are using this chutney with roasted and masala papad, and many more.
Mint chutney without yogurt:
In this chutney the all process will be same; just you have to avoid yogurt and the roasted cumin powder, that’s it.
